The Spark plug we received was considered the medium size and measures in at 5.3” long with 4.9” being insertable and 2” in diameter at the widest point. Besides the striking carbon fiber pattern on the plug the most unique feature is the suction cup base, something that isn’t found on to many plugs. Having a flared base makes the plug harness compatible if you so wish.
I inquired about the both the materials and process used to achieve the unique design. I was met with a response that the technique is a trade secret that Blush Novelties was not willing to divulge. What they were willing to share was it “It took many years of development to figure out.” And they “can assure you that this has been lab tested and is 100% safe.” Whatever it is exactly seems to have held up and not worn off. If I had place a bet on how it is done, I would guess they use something similar to a hydrographics process. That is not certain and simply my best guess.
This is one of our few traditionally shaped plugs, and the only one of this size. When offered to review an item, I was excited to try out a larger plug. We have reviewed many larger dildos such as the Tantus General, and the Bad Dragon Clayton, so a plug seemed like a logical choice.
To begin the design really stands out. Companies seem to love making products in either black, pink, or purple, and the carbon fiber addition is fairly unique and certainly more interesting than a standard black toy. It is also the only plug we own that sports a suction cup base, which is great for solo use.
Having used a few larger dildos here and there I though the Medium Spark Plug would be a perfect fit, and it is sort of. I find the diameter to be quite challenging, in the first couple of uses I found it near impossible to fully insert. After a couple attempts and finally conquering the Spark plugs 2” diameter it was quite a full feeling. The large 2” diameter combined with 5” length is quite large when it comes to plugs and the feeling was quite different than a dildo of the same size.
Overall the Medium Spark Plug is a quality silicone plug for those who enjoy larger toys. If the Spark Plug interests but the size is not quite right they also make a Small size which is 1.6” and Large which has a diameter of 2.5”.
The 100% Ultra Premium Silicone feels of great quality. As with any silicone toy the options are plentiful when it comes to cleaning. I personally stick with the cleaning instructions given by Tantus inc. for all of my silicone toys.
For a quick clean, use antibacterial soap with warm to hot water (Our preferred method), or use a toy cleaner (one without Triclosan!). For a more extensive clean, you can boil your product or clean with a 10% bleach solution. For the most thorough cleaning, you may put your product in the dishwasher on a regular cycle, no detergent needed.
Let air dry, or clean with a lint free cloth.

What a beautiful looking toy. I have a quick question. I’m a student so I can’t really afford to spend a lot on toys, but when I was searching to buy my first dildo, I found that thicker (2″ or so) ones I want that are silicone-based tend to be really pricey. I know that buying on Amazon isn’t considered great, but is it that bad?
It can be really bad. For the most part I would say not to. Look up Tantus Grab bags, or look for sales, there certainly are budget options when it comes to silicone toys.
What a beautiful plug. I’ve never heard of this one, thanks for pointing it out to my attention.
This plug looks amazing, I love the pattern. From the review I am assuming that there is no texture on the toy? The pattern is just visual? Either way it looks like fun, and from your experience I would definitely start with the small one.
