Tantus Cush 02: Review

The Details

The Tantus Cush is one part of the Dual Density O2 line of dildos produced by Tantus. The O2 line of toys features a duel density silicone, which in this case is a softer outside layer over a firmer core. The firm core runs all the way through the bottom creating not only a beautiful toy, but also adds some ridged support to the base making it both anal and harness compatible.

Tantus Cush Purple and Ice

The advantages to this is you get the comfort of a softer material, and the rigidity of a firmer toy. The Cush is on the larger side of toys standing at 7.25” inches tall, 7“ of them being usable and measuring in at 1.75” diameter. Due to the softness of the outer layer it is less of a challenge than say The Maia D3 which is much firmer, although they share a similar diameter. If the size is an issue and you prefer toys of a smaller size, Tantus also makes a smaller version called the Flurry. The Flurry shares all the same O2 characteristics and looks but with a smaller diameter.

The two tone color design with the colored core and white soft layer is reminiscent of something stuck in ice. Not only is Tantus Cush aesthetically pleasing the ridge along the shaft is perfectly suited for G-spot or prostate stimulation.

Use

When we first received the Tantus Cush after ordering we had gone with the Twilight coloration (sort of a purple tone) as it was on sale through the store we ordered from, although we would have much preferred the ‘ice’ color (more of a blue). We loved the Cush at first sight but upon further inspection the firm core seemed to be so far off center that it was protruding out of the softer outer layer. A few emails later and a new toy was sent out, this time in the Ice coloration. This just goes to show the amazing customer service that Tantus has behind their product, and making sure every customer is happy with their product.Tantus Cush

Now down to actually using the Cush. It is not a small toy on paper. At 1.75”, it was one of the larger toys we owned, and the softest. The duel density materials used in the toy help downplay the girth, as the material has a nice amount of give. But do to the firm core, it does not flop around. The ridge below the head, followed by the one half way down the shaft makes for some of the most pleasant texture we have experienced on the other wise smooth toy.

Whether for g-spot or prostate stimulation, the Cush pairs its wonderful ridges with just above average girth, leaving you feeling full but comfortably so. It seems to hit on all the points that I would use to describe a perfect toy, all while being one of the coolest looking toys in our drawer. It is a great intermediate toy, and a wonderful entry into the world of much acclaimed duel density toys.

Cleaning Instructions

The 100% Ultra Premium Silicone used is nothing but quality. As with any silicone toy the options are plentiful when it comes to cleaning. Tantus suggests:

For a quick clean, use antibacterial soap with warm to hot water (Our preferred method), or use a toy cleaner (one without Triclosan!). For a more extensive clean, you can boil your product with a 10% bleach solution.
For the most thorough cleaning, you may put your product in the dishwasher on a regular cycle.

Let air dry, or clean with a lint free cloth.

  1. Thanks for the quality reviews so far. It’s so nice that you include details like the ordering process and customer service from companies. Keep up the good work!

  2. The cush is a wonderful toy for size queens 🙂 I personally have the Flurry and ready find it quite big, but this one is so beautiful! ❤ amazing review as always!

    1. We don’t have the Flurry. But the Cush is one of those toys that is near the perfect size for me. Not to small, but not to big either.

    1. Not a chance. The outer lay is the same 100% platinum silicone, will stand the test of time when cared for appropriately.
