Aneros DeVice: Review

The Details

Not my first experience with an Aneros Prostate Stimulator but certainly my first made of silicone. Aneros is famous for their hands free prostate stimulators, usually made of medical grade plastic. The Silicone used in the Device is very firm with little to no give, but still more forgiving than the usual plastic used by Aneros. Fairly new to the market the Aneros Device is the non-vibrating version of the Aneros Vice.

The Aneros Device is a moderately sized prostate massager that functions very similar to a plug, insertion is a breeze and the base is one of the most comfortable I have encountered. Measuring at 1.3” in diameter and 4” insertable length. the Device may be a stretch for beginners, but a very approachable by those with even the slightest amount of anal experience.

If you are interested in prostate massagers and Aneros has piqued your interest they have a large variety of models that come in all shapes and sizes from the beginner to advanced models and everything in between.

In use

I used to own an Aneros Progasm, which carries a very similar size and shape to the new Aneros Device. But unfortunately, one of the arm tabs broke off in use, rendering the toy useless. I was ecstatic to get the opportunity to receive a similar toy to review, as I always had fond memories of our former Aneros toy. The best thing about the new Device is the indestructible silicone construction, that is as silky smooth as it is firm. Never again do I have to worry about a fragile arm breaking from the toy.

The Aneros line of prostate stimulators has long been my favorite toy to use during intercourse, the shape of toy helps provide movement with your own contractions providing a more complex experience than a standard plug. But can also elevate a masturbation session to a new level as well. As your muscles clench on the edge of climax the Aneros Device draws further in stroking your prostate to help drive you orgasms just a little further.

The level of movement is subtle, more so than a stationary plug but a far cry from thrusting a toy. Aneros touts the ability for a “super o” when using their prostate massagers but for me that has never been the case, no more so than any other anal toy we have used. Although it is absolutely wonderful in use, I would not go in with the expectations of a life changing orgasm.

But what it does provide is a wonderful feeling of fullness, targeted prostate stimulation, and subtle movements that help enhance the prostate stimulation and it does those things very well. I am pleased to have another Aneros toy in the collection and this one does not disappoint.

Cleaning Instructions

The 100% Ultra Premium Silicone used is nothing but quality. As with any silicone toy the options are plentiful when it comes to cleaning.  I like to stick with the suggestions from Tantus inc.:

For a quick clean, use antibacterial soap with warm to hot water, or use a toy cleaner (one without Triclosan!).

For a more extensive clean, you can boil your toy for 2 minutes, with enough water to cover. You can also spray or rinse your product in a 10% bleach solution. Do NOT boil bleach.

To clean toys with grooves, crevices, and texture, you may put your product in the dishwasher on a regular cycle on the bottom rack.

Let air dry, or clean with a lint free cloth.
