A Bit About Hole Punch Toys
We have always been a huge fan of Hole Punch toys, awing over many of their toys on social media. The Details
The Butnik is like no other two we have owned before, yet its components are quite familiar. Consisting of a firm but manageable sized plug, and wrapped in silicone cock ring. Coming in a multitude of colors the Hole Punch Toys Butnik is full of great color combinations. The cock ring is one of the softest and squishiest silicone we have ever felt, and has an internal diameter of a little under an inch; but can stretch to around two inches.
There is not much notable about the plug itself that stands out among the others we have tested and reviewed in the past. One thing we did notice is a small seam along the sides of the Butnik plug. This is a byproduct of the hand pour process and has had no effect during use.

Use
The Butnkik by Hole Punch toys is one of the more exciting products we have recently received, we always love when we are approached by small artisan toy makers. I really love the streamlined look when the two components are combined, it makes for a discrete and storage friendly shape that is simply fun and artistic.
Starting with the plug. It is a traditional plug shape in a manageable size. The small circular base, and slightly longer neck do make for one of our more comfortable plugs that does not interfere whether playing or using for long term wear. This can be an issue with other plugs with a more anchor shaped base, although they are comfortable we find other bases can block the vaginal entrance making it difficult to wear during intercourse, but that is not the case with Butnik. For that reason, it has become one of the main plugs that Harper enjoys using during sex, making for a great dual penetration toy and really creating that full feeling without pushing the limits too far.
As for the cock ring, as much as I really wanted to love it simply was not comfortable for me. We do not have much experience with cock rings but I found it to be incredibly tight, to the point where it was painful, the opposite of what we were hoping for. I am of average size yet nothing I tried would make the ring function as I had imagined. Instead of increased hardness and sensations, I was met with throbbing and uncomfortableness.
I would not say this is the rings fault though. It is both stretchy, soft, and of high quality. My lack of experience with cock rings leads me to have little to base my experiences with the Butnik ring to other similar products. For all I know I would have had the same experience with any of the other silicone cock rings on the market. For me it simply did not work for my body, and that is okay. Not every toy works for every person, that is the joy of having choices and varieties on the market.
Conclusion
As much as I really wanted to love the entirety of the Butnik package, I find myself shying away from the included cock ring. I may revisit at a future date and see if this still holds true, but for the ring simply does not work for me.
But it was not a total bust. The Butnik includes a high-quality silicone plug that we absolutely adore. It may not be showy or revolutionary as a plug, but it does its job wonderfully well. When combined with the cock ring you get two hand poured quality sex toys, at a reasonable price.

Cleaning Instructions
The 100% Ultra Premium Silicone used is nothing but quality. As with any silicone toy the options are plentiful when it comes to cleaning. For our Silicone toys, we usually stick to Tantus’ suggestions of:
For a quick clean, use antibacterial soap with warm to hot water, or use a toy cleaner (one without Triclosan!).
For a more extensive clean, you can boil your toy for 2 minutes, with enough water to cover. You can also spray or rinse your product in a 10% bleach solution. Do NOT boil bleach.
To clean toys with grooves, crevices, and texture, you may put your product in the dishwasher on a regular cycle on the bottom rack.
Let air dry, or clean with a lint free cloth.
